Edge Rush Daily is a sports news brief built for busy fans. Twice a day we pull together the biggest stories across football, baseball, basketball, hockey and soccer so you can catch up in 5 to 10 minutes.

• Top Stories: the handful of stories that matter most today.
• Breaking: news that just happened.
• What's Being Talked About: the debates and storylines fans are following.
• Betting: a short section on betting news only, never picks or advice.

How we write

• Traditional news style: short paragraphs and plain language.
• Numbers only where they help tell the story.
• Written in our own words from public sources, such as ESPN public data and news reports. We don't copy other outlets' text.
• Every story names its source. If we can't verify something, we leave it out.
• Team logos and player photos come from ESPN and are used to identify the teams and players in the news. They are property of their respective owners and are used for news reporting. Contact us to request removal.
